PES School of Nursing Education Announces Michigan Board of Nursing Approved Practical Nursing (LPN) Program

Grand Rapids, Michigan Jun 5, 2026 (Issuewire.com) PES School of Nursing Education is proud to announce that its new Practical Nursing (LPN) Program has received approval from the Michigan Board of Nursing and is now accepting applications for its inaugural Fall 2026 cohort.

This milestone represents a significant expansion of PES School of Nursing Education’s commitment to addressing Michigan’s healthcare workforce shortage by providing accessible, high-quality nursing education pathways for aspiring healthcare professionals.

The accelerated 12-month Practical Nursing Program is designed to prepare graduates to provide safe, competent nursing care in a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, hospice, home health, and acute care environments. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN licensure examination.
